how's the fit on these? after my zizi failure, i've been considering ordering these. are they narrow?
Hi Erica, the fit is a little smaller than true to size. The tricky thing about them is that if you want to wear thick socks (as we all do in New England winters) then you might consider going a size up. However, if you go a size up, you could probably put an insole in until the weather gets really cold to compensate for the extra room. As for the narrowness, I don't find them to be too narrow except perhaps in the front of the shoe, which is slightly narrower than I'd like. That being said, I have pretty wide feet and I still really really love these boots. They are my go to every morning in the closet! Good luck with your boot hunting!
P.S. I will also say that the boot stretches over time -- I've noticed this too. So if you're an in-between size, I'd just go with the bigger one rather than an extra half size up (rather than size up, which is what I meant in the previous comment).
