Feature: Jas M.B. Rucksack Flap Messenger Bag. I recently headed over to newly opened Barney's for their sale and picked up this gorgeous supple meshed leather one shoulder bag/back pack. For me, I love balancing feminine with masculine by mixing pretty dress and tops with edgy bags and accessories. Also, since I'm heading to Europe and traveling all around this summer, I thought this little guy would be the perfect solution and has proved to be so. Although I was debating the price tag, I ultimately caved in because of the ingenious design.
Much less shiny and more supple looking in person, I'd say this bag is perfect as a hand bag but also unique as a backpack. It has a zipper on top that lets you into your bag without having to undo the buckles. It has side pouches for my little umbrella and nalgene waterbottle. It all fits perfectly and I couldn't think of a more well designed bag. Images courtesy of Barneyscoop.com.

Feature: Vera Wang Lavender Wooden Flip Flops. I simply love the look and ingenious design of these wooden and leather flip flops. It's not surprising since they are basically my favorite materials to construct accessories from. Considering the mass market of flip flops out there, these really seem to stand out. Featured today on shopbop.com.

Feature: School Uniform. Although school is over for most of us, there is nothing like a little schoolgirlish charm during the summer months ahead! My best friend and one of the most fashion forward people I know (and I'm not just saying that because she is my friend), Jordan de Vault, recently opened up an Etsy shop with all the kinds of goodies that she's always had an eye for during our entire friendship. I've seen some of these things in real life and I can positively say that they are absolutely charming and original pieces. Although I don't normally post vintage on here, I just wanted to say for the record that: don't let vintage wear fool you into thing it's not fashion forward (as most of already know...I'm probably preaching to the choir.) All I know is that this blog is all about paradoxical fashion and design and there is nothing better than juxtaposing something vintage with something severely modern and minimalist. In fact, it's probably one of the most compelling combinations! Images courtesy of and shop at Schooluniform.

I love the new photography and clothes over at Totokaelo right now. 30% off of all Acne and Junya Watanabe. Although I don't have the funds to buy any of this during this time, I plan on using these images as ideal "silohuettes" and mixing prints for my trip to London, Spain and Paris this summer! I know Spain will probably be hot, but does anyone know what the weather will be like in France and London? Does anyone here have any recommendation for things to do or places to see in any of these places?
P.S. I'm sorry I haven't updated in so long, I'm getting slammed with seminar papers right now!
