WENDY MINK
Feature: Wendy Mink fuels my obsession with amoeba-like shapes and metal jewelry. Since I'm always looking for an unconventional hoop, I'll certainly get these earrings for their design and relatively affordable price!

SMALL THINGS
Feature: Small Things. From Portland, Oregon, Small Things is a hand-made jewelry line that features delightful motifs. I purchased a necklace (fern) years ago and wear it almost everyday as my trademark necklace. Since I received so many questions about it over the years, I thought I'd finally share Small Things with all of you. Pendants pictured below; prices range from $80-110.

FIGS AND GINGER
Feature: Buydefinition. This newly launched online store features independent designers like Samantha Pleet, K ritt, and Figs and Ginger. I have to admit that I'm featuring not only the jewelry but my closest friend modeling them. These pieces reflect a delightfulness that does not seem to take away but only add to the simplest outfits. Also, I'm just a sucker for any wooden jewelry, especially when it involves an interesting use of delicate chains. There is something about this combination that is simultaneously severe and appealing.

COG & PEARL
Feature: Cog & Pearl in Brooklyn. Met up with old friend today who works across the street from this delectable little store. I frequented the store on Brooklyn's 5th many times and it is my favorite! They carry handmade jewelry from independent artists and home decor that you want to take photos around. Make sure you stop by Cog & Pearl if you get the chance for delicate and enchanting pieces.

DEER AND DOE
Accessories feature: Alex and Chloe. Simplistic, hip, ironic necklaces with unique charms, jewelry label Alex and Chloe features organic shapes that may be what you've been searching for. I know as an avid fan of independent jewelry makers and designers, I often feel inundated with gawdy, tacky or overtly flashy jewelry that looks cheaply made. For me, jewelry is always about balance and its also about making it yours, Alex and Chloe offer a range of pendants that seem to be delightful and charming fits with any outfit.
